Structure of a Good Motivation Letter

You can write the motivation letter in two ways.
1. Three Paragraphs including Introduction, Body, and Conclusion
2. Seven Paragraphs letter including three lines in each paragraph.

Usually, the letter consists of three main parts.

  • Introduction: The introduction consists of your name, level of your education, and the degree program you are going to apply for.
  • Body: You can split the body into more than one paragraph. In the opening paragraph, describe your work experience or internships. Relate it with your career goals. Tell them your ultimate career goals. The second paragraph may include, how the degree you are applying for will help you in pursuit of a career. In another paragraph, you can mention your future plan. Do you want to study further or where you want to work in the future? Answer these questions.
  • Ending or Conclusion: End your motivation letter with a conclusion that supports, you are the best candidate for this scholarship. Templates are also available for motivation letter writing. You can use them but never copy the content. This will lead to plagiarism. Some recruiters can check your letter for plagiarism too.

Therefore, it is important to write it in your own words. Use high-quality phrases. Write it in a highly professional manner and be precise. Avoid grammatical mistakes and spelling errors. To avoid them reread the letter more than one time.
